Big Fat Tech Review
It'll Blow You Away!
I love the Fox system blower. The simple fact is unless you've got money to spend on water cooling you're going to be using fans. I've tried a number of system blowers and most of them suck (not literally) and are much worse than regular 120mm case fans which typically do anywhere from 30-60 CFM. The fox on the other hand blows out an amazing 42 cubic feet of air a minute. It'll easily part your hair whilst keeping your expensive components cool. I have one of these in every computer I own. It just makes sense to spend $4.00 to keep hundreds of dollars of tech cool. The other great thing about the Fox is that it is quiet, under 31 dba. One thing to take note of is that the Fox-1 takes up a single PCI slot where as the Fox-2 take up two slots. I'm not sure why since they are almost identical. The only difference is the Fox-2 is rated at 2800 rpm, 400 rpm faster than the Fox-1, but it has the same CFM. So if you're tight on space go with the Fox-1. If you've got no PCI wiggle room than you can try the Fox-3 which will fit in a 3.5" bay. It's actually quieter and will still blow 42 CFM. Either way these are great fans to help keep your PC temperature down if you haven't upgraded to water cooling.
