Americans love to panic at the slightest sign of any trouble. Of course the mega media corporations love to exploit situations like this and the American public in the process. Hence the latest rush to buy Potassium Idodie which somehow people have gotten into their heads is a magic pill to avoid any and all radiation related illness. It's not and in fact can have serious side effects. I'm not saying you shouldn't have some on hand, but please don't take it unless you are told to do so by a reliable source (i.e. your doctor or the CDC).
