My Big Fat Game Review
Whatever, Whatever!
I Do What I Want!
There's lots of ways you can have a good time for $10, but most of them are illegal and involve a dark alley. Not so with South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play it's legal and just as fun. The premise of the game is fairly straight forward. Hordes of old people, ginger kids, Mongolians, etc. come in waves trying to attack the town. You and up to three friends (online or co-op) play the four main characters from south park who are attempting to save south park. Throwing snowballs to kill the hordes and building mazes out of snow to slow them down are your basic tools. You also have a special power, different for each character, that is charged up by throwing snowballs. Lastly and most importantly are the towers. Collecting coins from fallen enemies gives you the money you need to build various towers. The seven towers you can build range from the Pee-tron to the Fiery-works. Some towers work better on specific enemies than others. The play is fast paced and challenging on hard and insane, once you unlock it, lives up to it's name. Your efforts are rewarded by video clips and unlocking other kids from the show that you can play. Also there are five challenge levels that unlock when you finish. If you play the game on hard you'll get about six hours of game play and if you go back and play it on insane you'll get another seven out of the game. Even if you're not a South Park fan this is great co-op game and lots of fun and legal. Hopefully additional levels will be downloadable in the future.
