The PSP GO

My Big Fat Disappointment

More Like The PSP Joke.

...and it's a running joke. Sony comes out with a great ground breaking piece of tech, but with a few short comings. Then build up a lot of anticipation over the next model and how much more awesome it's going to be, but ignore all customer feed back and all the great ideas the modding community invents. Then release basically the same model as the first one, but with a better battery, a little lighter and a $249.99 price tag. Oh yeah and make sure not to come out with the great accessories (like a keyboard or a decent camera) and quash any company that tries to. The PSP GO is slick looking, has Bluetooth and 16gb built in, big deal. So how about where it counts. Well, the GO has the same 333mhz clock speed and the same 64mb of memory as the PSP-2000. Also instead of a standard mini usb port it's now a proprietary piece of crap (I loath proprietary). The screen is also half an inch smaller. So the only real upgrade is the Bluetooth. As far as the storage space goes you can use a MicroSD to MS Pro Duo Dual Slot Adapter with two 16gb MircoSDHC cards to get 32gbs on any PSP. Once again Sony has managed to disappoint.
