My Big Fat Movie Review
A Movie to Bore the Entire Family
Your children will not only be unable to pronounce the lead characters name they won't be able to follow the needlessly twisty plot. This film does however guarantee to have your children squirming to get away within the first 30 minutes. Actually you'll be squirming to get away too. The director of this movie made the classic mistake of trying to pander to the adults that might be watching. Yet the movie manages to be humorless on all levels for adults and kids. Unless, that is, you think soup is funny.
The voice acting in the movie is done well. There are some great actors in the film (Dustin Hoffman, Matthew Broderick, etc.) but unfortunately all their talent can't make this movie worth watching. The animation is also first rate. Again though it's still not worth even one watch. If you want to watch a film with scurrying pests and some actual humor see Ratatouille, a first rate movie. Summation: You'll waste two hours of your life.
