Bana-a-na
I love word games. Especially Scrabble and Upwords, but sadly at my house I'm the only one. Bananagrams has changed all that. It's probably the only word game that levels the playing field between those of us with verbosity in our vocabulary and those without. The goal of the game is to use all your letters before the other players. Yes, they have to be interconnected, but you can rearrange them as you pull new letters and there is no scoring for the words themselves. Again it's just who finishes first that wins. It's a lot more fast paced then Scrabble and little more hectic. It sounds simple, but it's actually quite challenging when you're under the gun to beat other players. The other nice thing is there's no bulky board to spin around and the game is a lot more portable than other board games. Bananagrams is sure to be a hit with the family. Enjoy.
